Meet the Friars serving at the University of Delaware:
Fr. Ambrose Eckinger, O.P. Pastor Fr. Ambrose has previously served as pastor of St. Patrick Church in Columbus, OH and novice master for the St. Joseph Province of the Dominican order. He hails from Steelton, PA and has a B.A. from the Angelicum in Rome (Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas) as well as theological training from the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, D.C.
Fr. Stephen Alcott, O.P. Associate Pastor Fr. Stephen was raised in Harwood, MD. He earned his bachelor’s a the Franciscan University of Steubenville, OH and studied at the Dominican House of Studies. He previously served as associate pastor at St. Gertrude Church in Cincinnati, OH. He has assisted with the campus ministries at both Catholic University and the University of Virginia.
