The Dominican friars of the Province of St. Joseph have been asked by the Archdiocese of New York to host a weekly radio show on the Archdiocese’s satellite radio station, The Catholic Channel, which is broadcast on the Sirius satellite radio network on channel 159. The program, called “Word to Life,” is an hour-long down-to-earth discussion of the scripture readings for Sunday. It airs every Friday from 12-1pm, ET.

The episode for Friday, March 2, was hosted by Br. Pius, Pietrzyk, OP.  His guests included Fr. Joseph Alobaidi, OP, a scripture professor at the Dominican House of Studies, and Br. James Cuddy, a deacon at the Dominican House.  They discussed the readings for the Second Sunday in Lent.

A previous Friday saw Br. Dominic Legge of the Dominican House of Studies as the host. His guests were Fr. John Corbett, OP, a professor of moral theology at the Dominican House of Studies, and Mr. Perry Lorenzo, the Education Director of the Seattle Opera.
