Last year, PBS’s Religion & Ethics NewsWeekly show produced a segment on the Vigil of All Saints. Also, Nick Manetto of the National Catholic Register published an article on last year’s event. From this blog site, you can also see Br. Anthony Giambrone’s preaching at last year’s Vigil and hear (and read) Br. Hugh Vincent Dyer’s homily from two years ago. Zenit news service also wrote an article just before the 2003 Vigil.
In addition, we occasionally hear news that a version of our Vigil of All Saints is being offered in other areas around the country. The St. Louis Review recently posted an article on St. Louis Abbey Church, which will be hosting its own vigil, modeled after the one here in Washington. The whole article is available on the St. Louis Review Online website. Also, we understand that the Catholic chaplaincy at Vanderbilt University also held a Vigil of All Saints modeled on the one here at the Dominican House.
