The latest issue of the Dominican Review (vol. 3, no. 1) is now available.  The Dominican Review is a quarterly journal by the students of the Province of St. Joseph studying at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, DC.  This issue of the Dominican Review contains the reflections of two of the brothers on their summer apostolic assignments.  The first, by Br. James Brent, OP, delves into the issue of addiction, and the need to preach the mercy of God to those caught in addiction.   The second, entitled “Life in Christ on Death Row,” recounts the death row ministry in Youngstown, OH this summer by Br. Dominic Bump, OP.  The final article is by one of our newly professed brothers, Br. Justin Brophy, OP, in which he speaks about his recent profession of the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience.  To read this issue of the Dominican Review, click on the image above.
