The Wonders of Lourdes

This year marks the 150th anniversary of Lourdes, and as of today the Pope has arrived in France to mark the anniverary. Dominicans are also marking the anniversary. The popular missal Magnificat, edited by Fr. Peter John Cameron, O.P., has compiled a large but inexpensive book recounting 150 miracles of Lourdes — one miracle for each year since the apparitions took place. When reading The Wonders of Lourdes, one vividly experiences for oneself the truth of the line repeated throughout the Gospels: ” and all were amazed”. One is amazed because these incredible stories are true.
