St. Albert the Great Symposium

On Saturday November 15, 2008, the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception will offer their traditional annual St. Albert the Great Symposium. This year, the book Vatican II: Renewal Within Tradition will provide the background for the symposium. The symposium is open to the general public but only a limited number of spaces are available and pre-registration is required by November 10th. The fee for those who are not faculty or full-time students at the Pontifical Faculty is $20.00. To pre-register please see the website of the Pontifical Faculty.
The Symposium speakers include: Fr. Matthew Lamb, Ave Maria University, on “The Genesis of Vatican II: Renewal Within Tradition”; Fr. James Massa, USCCB, on “The Ecumenical Journey: Faithful and Dynamic”; and Fr. Romanus Cessario, OP, “Thomism and Some Twentieth-Century Theologians”.
