In 1963, Mr. Michael Kalush filmed and wrote a televised documentary on our Dominican mission to Pakistan. The documentary was made for WJRT-12 TV in Flint, Michigan. Above is a picture of Fr. Bede Denis, OP, one of the Dominican missionaries of the Province of St. Joseph saying Mass at a makeshift altar in Pakistan. Our Mission to Pakistan was begun in the mid-1950s, following the expulsion of our missionaries from China. In 1970, the Pakistani government ceased granting new visas to our missionaries.
