Pilgrimage to Lourdes

Recently, Frs. Pius Pietrzyk, OP, and Michael Dosch, OP, led a youth pilgrimage to the great Marian Shrine of Lourdes in France.  This was a part of the 2009 U.S. Rosary Pilgrimage.  The Pilgrimage included not only Lourdes, but holy sites in Paris, Nevers, and Lisieux.  While in Lourdes, they met up with three of [...]

One of the many impressive elements of yesterday’s ordination was the brief series of acknowledgments Archbishop DiNoia delivered at the end of Mass.  His words were striking both for their focus and for the intense emotion with which he delivered them.
All Dominican hearts will be duly moved by his sentiments.

Augustine DiNoia, OP was ordained an archbishop by William Cardinal Levada in the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.  Archbishop DiNoia serves as the Secretary of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments.  He was ordained as the first Titular Archbishop of Oregon [...]
