Episcopal Ordination of Archbishop Augustine DiNoia, OP

This afternoon, Dominican friar Rev. Augustine DiNoia, OP was ordained an archbishop by William Cardinal Levada in the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Archbishop DiNoia serves as the Secretary of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments. He was ordained as the first Titular Archbishop of Oregon City.
The friars were present in great numbers to support their brother as he continues to serve the Church especially with regard to the sacraments. Please keep Archbishop DiNoia in your prayers.
