The Archdiocese of New York has released a new 90-second vocations video that highlights the sights and sounds of the 2009 Ordination Mass celebrated in St. Patrick’s Cathedral.  This ordination was Archbishop Dolan’s first in New York, and the brief extracts we hear from his homily offer good points for meditation, especially in this Jubilee Year for Priests.  Click below to watch the video, which was produced by Grassroots Films.  Click here for the Archdiocese of New York’s vocations website.

On a side note, many Dominicans will recognize the chapel featured in the video’s opening scene.  It’s the Holy Name Chapel located at the rear of our own Church of St. Vincent Ferrer.
