Photos from the Brothers’ Summer Assignments

Each summer, the student brothers from the Dominican House of Studies are sent out to various priories throughout the province for different ministries. This is so that they can grow in their understanding of what the preaching aspect of the Dominican life is all about. Also, it gives the brothers a chance to experience life in other communities in the province and to get to know the friars, throughout the province, a little better.
This summer, not only were brothers sent throughout the province, but some were even sent oversees for various purposes, such as learning French in Toulouse, attending a seminar on Islam in Cairo and working in our mission in Eastern Africa.
We’ve compiled some pictures from various ministries throughout the summer. You might recognize some of the pictures which have already made it to the blog, but there are many new ones to go along with the familiar ones. Click on the image above to view the slideshow.
