VOCATION WEEKEND OCTOBER 17-19, 2008

A vocation weekend is is a no-strings-attached chance to spend time learning about the life of Dominican friars, to pray with us, to talk with our student brothers, to meet our older brethren, and most of all to listen for the voice of Jesus who continually calls men to preach for the salvation of souls.

7:05 PM  Welcome by Prior of the Dominican House of Studies

7:10 PM  Overview of Weekend with Fr. Bill Garrott, O.P., Director of Vocations

7:20 PM  ”History of Religious Life,” Speaker:  TBA

8:20 PM  Break

8:30 PM  Eucharistic Adoration (Solemn Exposition, Night Prayer and Benediction) Preacher: TBA

9:30 PM  Recreation with the Dominican Community (Student Recreation Room)
