Welcome

“John testified further, saying, “I saw the Spirit come down like a dove from the sky and remain upon him; I did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘On whomever you see the Spirit come down and remain, he is the one who will baptize with the holy Spirit; The next day John was there again with two of his disciples, and as he watched Jesus walk by, he said, “Behold, the Lamb of God.” The two disciples heard what he said and followed Jesus; Jesus turned and saw them following him and said to them;

“What are you looking for?”

These are the first words Jesus speaks in the Gospel according to John. This question is answered not in concrete, definite or explicit terms. Simply, our Lord says, “Come and see.” Some questions in life we need to answer for ourselves. To do so, often we need to grow in knowledge and experience of what we are seeking. You have come to this home page because you are seeking. You are being drawn by God to look deeper within yourself to find Him who created you and Him who is calling you to walk a new path. As your life journey continues, remember that God is a God of surprises. He is a God of invitation. “Come and see.” Be open to the adventure ahead. May God fill your mind with new knowledge and your heart with new experiences that you may come to believe his promises to you will be fulfilled.”Do not be afraid!”;Trust in God rather than your definite, concrete, self-made plans. Much is in store for you—as it was for those early followers of Jesus who kept seeking him, proud as they were to be disciples of Jesus. You are in my prayers.

May our Holy Father St. Dominic and Mary, the Mother of Preachers, intercede for you and for your vocation. Come join us preachers and become holy with us as we follow Jesus the Christ in the footsteps of St. Dominic and all our Dominican saints.
Sincerely
